Final reflections on creating a recycled racer:  I found out that we are helping the earth when we design projects that can reuse supplies we already have.  I know how to build a car that is made out of all things that people would throw away.  I found out that if you put your mind to it, you can do a lot.  I am interested in green engineering because I would like to solve problems for people.

What was life like in the 1700s in the colonies? I’m Jaelyn, and I have an iPad, TV, phone, and . . . . Oh, wait! I forgot! I’m in the 1700s. I’m going to start over now. I have a little kettle, a tiny doll, and a wooden plate. I eat mostly meat and things from our garden, and I drink mostly water and milk. On Sunday we worship God in a church and all day we can’t laugh or play. On special days we have a lot of food. I came from England and sailed across the sea. My house has a window and a blue door.

You can fill your own water bottle. You need water, a water bottle, and you. First, open your water bottle. Second, push the switch down to start the water. Third, hold until the water bottle is full. Next, put the top on. Finally, gulp it!
