I created a health commercial to show what I have learned in our health unit! I researched bike safety, and here is my play.
Narrator: One day . . .
Jaelyn: Autumn, wake up!
Autumn: Why?
Jaelyn: Because we are riding our bikes to school.
Autumn: Oh . . . okay!
Narrator: In the kitchen . . .
Mom: Autumn, Jaelyn, what are you two doing?
Autumn: We are riding our bikes to school.
Dad: Okay, you two, but don’t forget your helmets!
Autumn: Oh, we don’t need our helmets!
Mom and Dad: Yes, you do!
Jaelyn: Autumn, I got our bikes. Can you get our helmets?
Autumn: We don’t need our helmets.
Jaelyn: Okay.
Dog: Arf, arf.
Narrator: On the way to school . . .
Jaelyn: Watch out!!!
Autumn: What is it?
Jaelyn: Oh, my head!
Dog: Arf, arf!
Narrator: At home . . .
Mom: Birdy, what is it?
Dad: I think you should follow Birdy.
Mom: Okay, I will.
Narrator: On the way to Autumn and Jaelyn . . .
Mom: Are you okay, Jaelyn?
Jaelyn: My head! My head!
Narrator: On the way home . . .
Mom: Jaelyn, here is some ice.
Jaelyn: Thanks, Mom
Narrator: Three days later . . .
Mom: Jaelyn, do you feel better?
Jaelyn: I feel a lot better.
Mom: So now you know that you should wear your bike helmet!
I taught about bike safety using my poster too. Then I shared a healthy snack from what I’ve learned about nutrition, one of my mom’s super power green shakes with a special straw.
